A migraine is the worst type of headaches and it is extremely painful. It can appear without any warnings and cause pain so severe that it can stop person’s activities for the rest of the day.

The newest findings showed that a migraine can occur because of deficiency of vitamin D, B12 or B6, as well as folic acid in the body. The lack of these nutrients can even increase the risk of getting this condition by 300%.

Besides these foods, migraines can be caused by fatigue and lack of sleep. Also, try avoiding skipping meals and pungent smelling substances like paint, perfumes, and chemicals.
Try writing a diary, writing down all the important details about headaches, when it started, duration or food you ate that day. You may find a pattern or a potential trigger, and then you can avoid or prevent headaches.
