Eggs – YES

Eggs are energy boosters and also a very good protein source which makes them the perfect thing to start the day with! They will also give other necessary nutrients to your body at the beginning of the day.

Watermelon – YES

It definitely deserves a place on your breakfast list! It is FULL with water and contains lycopene that helps in maintenance of eye and heart health.

Citrus Fruits – NO

While it is true that they are full with vitamin C, that doesn’t make them the best morning food. They have some ingredients that can cause heartburn if consumed on an empty stomach.

Oatmeal – YES

It does three very important things: it protects you from hydrofluoric acid, from damage and irritation while at the same time lowering your cholesterol levels.

Spicy Food – NO

Consumption of very spicy food in the morning probably isn’t the smartest thing you can do in the morning. It can cause irritation of the digestion tract and heartburn.

Honey – YES

Forget about caffeine – try honey and you will definitely feel a goodly feeling which will be even more than a wakeup call. It has the ability to wake up the brain, getting you more focus later on. Even more important: it increases serotonin levels which makes you happier!

Bananas contain a lot of magnesium. If you consume it the first thing in the morning, it can go into the bloodstream and cause heart problems in the long run. They are undoubtedly great for you, just make sure that you don’t eat them before you do anything else!

Soda – NO

It kind of makes sense. Sodas slow down the metabolism and will cause a feeling of bloatedness during the day.

They will help with focus, memory, concentration etc. Eat them and breakfast just once, you’ll see the difference and will do it all the time. Also, they stimulate the metabolism.

Tomatoes – NO

They can cause irritation, place them in the same basket as the green veggies!

Nuts – YES

Nuts will help with restoration of natural pH values and digestion improvement. Just a few can do miracles, just make sure that they are unsalted.

They have excess of crude fiber that can cause damage in the mucous membranes in the intestines and make you uncomfortable during the whole day.
