“In Greek mythology Sisyphus was the king of Ephyra (now known as Corinth). He was punished for his self-aggrandizing craftiness and deceitfulness by being forced to roll an immense boulder up a hill, only to watch it come back to hit him, repeating this action for eternity”

It’s this feeling where you’ve been going about your day business as usual, non-stop,
then suddenly you see something like this
and you weren’t expecting it in the least
nor were you seeking it out
but it’s there
and then suddenly you’re experiencing something amazing
and when it’s over you keep feeling it.
In the back of your mind, in your heart.
You know in this moment
that your life will always be a little better
from that moment on,
from having gone through the journey of that art,
but also
from knowing you can go back to it
and reexperience it any time you want
And you’re left,
in the moments afterward,
completely taken aback
completely moved
completely touched
completely feeling
completely human.
