Irregular sleeping or often insomnia can be a cause of numerous diseases including anxiety, stress and depression. If you think about your “to do” list for the next day, in your family or at work, your brain is simply working more and more, thinking about how you cannot stop it.

No matter the reason for the problem, a solution must be found to make your sleep better, besides taking a sleeping pill.

This is a simple recipe that is very tasty and works miracles! Bananas, or more specifically their peel is very rich with magnesium and potassium. Magnesium is great for prevention of sleep deprivation, but when it is combined with potassium, they help the muscles relax. In fact, magnesium is one of the best minerals for relaxation. Keep in mind that you would have to use 100% organic banana for the recipe, since the non-organic ones are full with harmful pesticides and you shouldn’t cook their peel.


  • A pan full with water

  • 1 organic banana

  • Cinnamon (by preference)

Put the whole banana, with the peel, in bowling water. Make sure it is cooking for about 10 minutes. Strain it, and season with cinnamon. Drink the tea an hour before you go to bed.

Besides, there is no need to throw away the used banana. Eat it! When combined with the tea, this will just increase the relaxing effect.
