Fight against flu with homemade lemon ginger cough drops Ingredients: Ginger Cup of water Cup of sugar (you can use brown) Half a lemon 2 tablespoons of honey 1 tablespoon of clove Preparation: Cut the ginger in small pieces at first, and make a puree of it. Next, add it in a cooking pan, adding the water, the sugar and the honey. Stir and add the lemon and the clove. Cook on medium temperature. After awhile you will see the mixture boil. Leave it and let it cool afterwards. You will notice the mixture getting thicker and stickier. Get a bigger pan, cover it with baking paper and use a spoon to make small drops. Use the whole mixture for this. After you are done, sprinkle the drops with powdered sugar. You can bake the drops for a bit, but you don’t necessarily have to. If you leave the drops for an hour or two you will see them harden and there you have it! Your own DIY healthy cough drops. Store them in a glass container.
