We all love avocados, simply because they are tasty and healthy, full of vitamins and phytonutrients. Your whole body will benefit from it, and you can use everything, even the seeds.
Most of the people throw away seeds when they’re eating avocado, but that is not right. Seeds are high in nutrients and they have more antioxidants than fleshy fruit.
The seeds of this fruit can strengthen your immunity and heal digestive issues. It can even protect your heart health, and protect you from cancer. This is all because these seeds are full of antioxidants and that means they can neutralize free radicals and slow down the aging process.
How to Prepare Avocado Seeds
Save the seeds and wash them. Pat dry them with a paper towel and put them in an oven or a dehydrator. Heat your oven to 250oF (120oC) and leave the seeds for 2 hours in the oven. The outer skin of the seeds should crack and you need to discard it.
After that, use a knife to cut the seeds in small pieces. Put those pieces into the blender and blend them into a powder.
Once you blend it, use it in moist form or you can roast it and store it away if you want. Powder with moist will look whiter and the roasted one will become orange in color.
